In this post, I am going to show you the most amazing yet affordable over the knee suede boots that I got from Amazon. Since it is getting so cold outside, I was in the market for some excellent quality yet expensive looking over the knee boots. The reason being is because I love wearing dresses and skirts (I can’t stand to let go of my summer fashion even in the dead of winter), but I am not trying to have my legs out in the cold weather either. Which is the beautiful thing about these over the knee boots in the sense that they cover up your legs, they are pretty insolated, and they will keep your legs warm.

The brand name of the boots is Ollio. And to be honest with you I have never heard of that name a day in my life. So I would not say they are name brand boots per se. And I also stand corrected when I say they are over the knee suede boots they are really over the need FAUX suede boots. But really, when you look at them and feel them, you cannot tell the difference. Choosing faux gives you the opportunity to save money, and no one should be that close to you anyway to be able to tell it is not real suede.
For me personally, I decided to go ahead and go for the black over the knee boots BUT they do come in other colors such as taupe, wine, and grey. I definitely feel like I am going to buy some more colors of this boot, specifically the wine colored ones. That is how much I am feeling these boots.
I have called these boots over the knee boots, but technically they are thigh high boots. They come up to the thigh on me, and they are marketed as thigh high boots, but I am also only 5 foot 2. I would imagine if I were a little taller probably around 5 foot 7 then these would just be over the knee boots. PLUS even though they are considered to be thigh-high boots they rarely stay there. They slip down as soon as you start to walk. Giving it a more over the knee boot feel unless you want to keep pulling them up throughout the day.
The most obvious pro of these boots is that they are cute, they are affordable, and even though they are faux suede, you really cannot tell. The quality of the boot is amazing. I have worn these boots time and time again for quite some time now, and they have held up pretty good. No broken zipper and no cloth falling off. None of that.
Even though the boot has a wedge heel, it does not feel like it at all. They are so comfortable to walk around in that you can be on your feet for a while and your feet not feel like they are in pain. I legit played laser tag in these boots with my son, and my feet did NOT hurt.
The next pro is that they are somewhat loose. I have bigger calves, thicker thighs, and the boots fit over them very well. In fact, they are actually a little loose over both my calves and my thighs. Meaning that if you have thicker legs, then you can trust that these boots are going to fit you.
One of the same things that I mentioned as a pro I am going to mention as a con, the boots are too loose fitting. It is wonderful for thicker women but even I am a thicker woman, and they are too loose for me. Which means as I walk the boots come down and they get twisted up pretty quickly. And no one wants to keep pulling up and/or adjusting your shoes all day.
BUT I must say that even when they fall down, that is due to the style of the boot, it just looks like they are saggy boots and are meant to be that way. There are actually times where I pulled them down on purpose to give them a new look. So looseness of the boot can be either a pro or a con for you depending on how you feel. But really that is the only con that I could think of for the moment.
I would actually give these boos a 7.5 out of 10. They are a reasonable price, good quality, and they look nice. In fact, when I wore them I got so many compliments on them. You can wear them in a dressed up type of setting, to work, or even a laid back kind of environment and they also look great wearing them over fishnets or even tights.
They are faux suede, but you cannot really tell the difference, AND the material is perfect for keeping your legs warm in colder weather. The only reason these shoes are not getting a full ten is because of their tendency to slip. It is not a HUGE deal per se, but it is a big enough deal to bring down the rating. When you start to walk too much in these shoes, they actually begin to get twisted up which is annoying. Like the zipper can manage to somehow be in the front of the shoe as opposed to the side. That is how twisted up they can get. Either way, I still love these shoes, AND I plan to get them in other colors. So the cons were not enough to detour me from buying then again. If you are looking for good quality yet affordable thigh high or even over the knee boots then yes I would highly recommend these.
